Whole body listening enhances focus, memory retention, empathy, and emotional intelligence which makes it a common classroom management strategy. By the conclusion of this lesson, students will have demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the principles behind this classroom management strategy. Of importance to note is that whole body listening is not suitable for all students, so included is information about who and why this approach is not suitable for as well as some accommodations and supports that could be implemented in the classroom to support that student to succeed.
