Meet Angie: Founder of All Therapy Resources

Angie is an esteemed professional with a passion for enhancing the emotional and mental well-being of vulnerable individuals in our community. As a published author, counselor, play therapist, and behavior consultant, she brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to her work at All Therapy Resources.

With over a decade of experience, Angie has excelled in a variety of roles, including working within government departments, schools, hospitals, disability services, and integrated service settings. Her private practice, “Simply Just Be: Counseling and Behaviour Consulting,” has garnered respect for its focus on trauma-informed and evidence-based practices. As a senior clinical consultant and senior behavior intervention specialist, Angie has honed her expertise in supporting children, young people, and adults facing complex trauma, emotional, behavioral, and attachment challenges.

Angie’s academic credentials are extensive, including qualifications in applied social science, psychology, and counseling. She has further specialized in mental health, neuropsychology, trauma-informed practice, and post-traumatic growth. Her certifications aslso include the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) and motivational interviewing. Angie’s commitment to continuous learning has taken her abroad for post-graduate training, including specialized studies in Hong Kong in Trauma-Informed Play-Therapy, further enriching her knowledge and skills.

As a registered and accredited play therapist, Angie is a strong advocate for trauma-informed and evidence-based practices. She has made significant contributions to the community via the use of programs such as DRUMBEAT, the “Cool Kids” program for children with anxiety, and the “Alert” Program for emotional regulation. Her work within school counseling settings, hospitals, disability services, and integrated services has allowed her to provide comprehensive support to diverse populations.
