INTERNET SAFETY BUNDLE Online Safety Games Boys and Girls Cyberbullying SEL

$6.49

Teaching online safety to a mixed class or running separate boys’ and girls’ groups? Our Internet Safety Bundle gives you both editions of our Behind the Screen digital game for grades 6-8, so every student gets questions that match how they actually spend their time online. If you’re looking for online safety activities, a digital citizenship lesson, cyberbullying games or internet safety lessons for middle school, this bundle has you covered with zero prep.

We made two editions because the risks really do look different. Our boys tend to run into trouble in online games and voice chat, while our girls more often face it in DMs, group chats and on social media. Both games cover the same five topics (fake profiles, keeping personal information private, pressure and red flags, screenshots and cyberbullying, and staying safe online), so you can teach the same message in a way that feels real to each group.

HOW WE USE IT

  • Separate boys’ and girls’ groups: each group plays its own edition, then we bring everyone back together to compare what they noticed.

  • Whole-class lessons: split the class into teams and play one edition one week and the other the next.

  • Digital citizenship weeks and Safer Internet Day: it makes an easy, ready-to-go lesson.

  • After an online incident at school: it opens up the conversation without pointing at anyone.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • Behind the Screen (Boys): gaming chats, fake identities, account sharing, grooming warning signs and sextortion

  • Behind the Screen (Girls): catfishing, password pressure, location sharing, love bombing and sextortion

HOW IT WORKS

Split your group into teams. Teams take turns picking a question on the game board, talk it over and answer out loud. Click “Check Answer” to show the answer and teaching point, then award points on the built-in scoreboard. Both games play with 2 to 10 teams and have a reset button for your next group.

WHY COUNSELORS & TEACHERS USE IT

  • No prep: open it and play

  • Clear next steps in every answer: stop, save the messages, tell a trusted adult and report it

  • Students talk about the situation, not their own experiences

  • You save by buying the two editions together

🚩 PLEASE NOTE: These games include age-appropriate questions about online grooming and sextortion. Please preview them first, follow your school’s policies, and let families know where needed. Students are never asked to share personal experiences.

IMPORTANT TECH NOTE

These games need the desktop version of Microsoft PowerPoint. When you open a file, click “Enable Content” so the buttons and scoreboard work. They won’t work in Google Slides, Keynote or PowerPoint online.
